Yeah I've read it twice and recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading. It was the Library of Congress that called it the second most influential book ever written, second only to the Bible.

Yeah, in my day... it was the latter.

god... that just made me sound old! But then, you already knew that! LOL....

i went to one rave once, back when i was your age (yeah, yeah, again... the old age sound!--but anyway!...), and it kicked ass as well, though i was completely sober (not even alcohol) and i concluded how i had never been offered so much free X (ecstacy) in my life... EVER!

While all the books were awesome, especially the Bean series, but the name has nothing to do with my high opinion of the books, or any sort of admiration for Bean's character. It was obviously derived from there but it is essentially about revealing more about yourself through the facade that is hiding the real you. The internet is unavoidably one such facade, and no amount of candor on my part can truly overcome that.

Funny you should mention St. Louis. His mother's side of the family hail from Crestwood/Kirkwood. He has often made stops there though hasn't booked shows there yet. He typically plays Chicago. Get his Lon Gisland EP if you haven't heard it yet.

Very nice :) I like the two paintings better than the sketches. The first one's nice and menacing, and the second one's got good depth and some really great details, like the gun and the puddles of blood :)

Oh yea sorry to throw another comment in, if you have the power to edit this into my first that'd be fine...

This book was recommended to me by several people who NEVER read. In fact this is probably the only book they've ever read, and they were pretty happy with it. A few of them are the typical meathead jock types.

I just want to say I read this back when I was in 9th grade...

This book has caused me to be an occasional reader. Before Ender's Game, I really only had read Goosebumps in elementary school. And I mean books I read in my spare time, and not books that the schools made me read.

So where you said "If you like books, go get this one."

Let me just say. I recommend this book to anyone with half a brain. So here's my challenge. Swallow any "I don't read lol" pride you may or may not have... get over that "static friction" of laziness. Very interesting read. Real easy read, too. I finished it in a day and a half.

Same with Ender's Shadow.

I was moved as well. It brought me to tears. It's time to get out of Iraq, so that we don't have to see any more good soldiers die. So that no more families have to go through what the Tillman's have had to.
